Been there, saying 'good-bye' to a frequent flyer in our ER. The scene squeezed my heart, your song destroyed me......... it was beautiful.

This moves me, Andrew. In my years of ICU nursing, witnessing an elderly couple having to part was always one of the hardest things for me. All we can do is stay present and hold the moment with reverence. You do that beautifully here with your song. Thank you.

I need you to know that after hearing about the Pitt nonstop for many moons, this is what got me to actually start watching. Beautiful work.

Very cool! My husband and I were just planning on watching the Pitt, and now we’re really psyched!

“Need Someone” is lovely and very moving.

So beautiful AB, pure distilled feeling perfect for embedding in a scene

When I first heard it I was like “this song is great, who sings this?” Think my brain could not compute a brand new Birdsong

Another of your songs for my funeral soundtrack, which I think (hope) you’ll appreciate as a sincere compliment. I love learning about what’s behind your music - thanks for your writing here. And from Minnesota, thank you for coming back! Am so excited for your show! By late November I hope we will be significantly closer to the light outside of this tunnel

I see you taking more risks and branching out . It reminds me of Lori Anderson, Bjork, Eno and Mark Isham.. I can see why movies seek you out. Paulaski at night feels like my youth soundtrack in Chicago ❤️

Oh fine, I guess I have to start watching The Pitt!

Thanks for this little preview…my husband and I have just started watching the Pitt.

Who’s your new camera person? I like how they included the short clip of you, at the end, just a pause and a glance around.

Well done. Writing to picture can provide good limitations on creativity. Which is why so many great songs have been written for movies.

Great to connect if this is actually you.

Seeing you, Andrew, first at the table behind us at dinner, then performing this piece at Largo, I figured immediately that it would be Wendell Pierce’s character that would leave. Concurrently watching his superb performance in Treme. And yes! I shed a tear. Thank you for this gorgeous number and all you played that night. You did look exhausted though.
