This is wonderful. Resonates even in a little phone. Omg this is fantastic. The violin. Holy smackers. "There will be tables and chairs". ... my dad was a whistler. I so miss it. Thank you. Oh sweet heaven ❤️. I love this ... "don't you worry". .. l have to sleep but I will be back and check out how to buy an album. "Measuring cups" okay I really gotta sleep. But I can't leave. I have not been able to listen to music since my husband died four years ago.

Even though I play music l couldn't listen. He was a composer, consummate guitar player... Just to be able to listen. This is a gift at this time in my grief process. " I was walking". Jerry would love this. Could not leave. I had to hear it all. I'm blown away and crying. Thanks and good night. Regards, thank you deeply for the gift of the return of my listening. gsr

Hearing you say how old an album was -- and being reminded that I've been following your work for 20 years - -gave me a pause and reflection about time, about presence, and about moments. Thank you for all you're doing, have done, and continue to do. Reminded of seeing you at the Tarrytown Music Hall, at TED, and with Sam Beam in New Haven. See you again soon, I hope.

Yes! This! I first started listening when my partner introduced me to it 13 years ago and you've put it so nicely... The pause... reflection on the moments this music has been there for in that time. I have never had the privilege of being in the same physical space as Andrew Bird and yet his work has been so important to me.

I've never quite figured out why your music makes me feel so longing and what it makes me longing for, just some strings strechted over an empty space inside, and the emptiness would be echoed right at me by the way the strings are played. Now I think I understand a little better. It's the way you put everything into the music, the hard and serious (haha) work that leads to excellence. As a novelist, I can say that it's true- there is a lot of discipline involved. But what truly inspires me on this journey are creatives who dare to put everything into their art. It encourages me while giving it my all as well. Maybe it's the longing of becoming and being oneself.

I didn’t know it, but I really needed this kind of music to balance out my emotions : emotions that are bouncing around without any finishing point I can relate to .I’m used to music who encapsulates my world with lots of other people who are full of emotions that may or may not lift me along…. I was born in the 1940’s , into a family of jazz musicians and singers….this music this afternoon was great. Thanx!🌹.

Well now, you’re in great company. The last time I was on a bike I had a glorious fall and broke my wrist. There’s never a lack of humbling moments 😊
